John Myers RV-8 Project - Page 3.

January 18, 2006:  This set of wings came off a wrecked Mooney John acquired in order to get the Lycoming 180 HP parallel valve O-360 engine for the RV-8 project.  The rest of the Mooney airframe is being scrapped out for parts.  I noticed the good bladder tank has already been removed from the wing.   The fuel tank on the right side took a direct hit during the crash.

BASH!  That is the only thing to say about the damage to the wing and fuel tank.

The Mooney fuselage sits in the corner of John's main hangar being parted-out for salvage.  If you need interior parts for a Mooney, he may still have what you need.  You can learn about John's home field at his "Flying M Ranch" web site:  http://www.flyingmranch.us/.   You can contact John via email (jmyers at flyingmranch dot us).
